The Academic Affairs Office Organized a Video Conference to Participate in the 2021 Series of Special Seminars on Ideological and Political Construction in Colleges and Universities

Net news (articles /pictures Dean's Office Xiujuan Yin) On the morning of March 20th, the Academic Affairs Office of the university organized and participated in the video conference of the series of seminars on the ideological and political construction of universities in 2021 in the 4th conference room of the university. President Guoqing Gui, Vice President Qionghua Wang, Assistant President Gui Yang and other school leaders attended the meeting. University Dean, assistant dean, department heads, principals of ideological and political demonstration courses, teaching quality management office, teacher development center and academic affairs office all attended the meeting.

The seminar was jointly organized by the College Physics Teaching Steering Committee of Ministry of Education、Astronomy Specialty Teaching Steering Committee、Nuclear Engineering Specialty Teaching Steering Committee、Atmospheric Science Specialty Teaching Steering Committee、Public Finance Specialty Teaching Steering Committee、Tourism Management Specialty Teaching Steering Committee、Engineering Graphics Course Teaching Guidance Sub-committee、Steering Committee for Cultural Quality Education of Vocational Colleges, Ministry of Education、China Educational Technology Association、Physics Teaching Committee of Chinese Physical Society、Teaching and Research Branch of Chinese Association of Higher Education、Vocational and Technical Education Branch of China Association of Higher Education and China Education Television Station. The conference adopts the "online and offline" meeting mode. The off-line meeting was held in Tsinghua University, attended by relevant discipline and professional teaching steering committee, many universities, textbook publishing institutions, digital companies and media. The seminar aims to further implement General Secretary Jinping   Xi important remarks on education and the spirit of the national education conference、to carry out the fundamental task of morality education. We will implement the guiding principles of the Ministry of Education's 《Guidelines for the Ideological and Political Construction of Higher Education Curriculum》and 《The Key Work Points of The Department of Higher Education of The Ministry of Education in 2021》，in order to further promote the ideological and political construction of college curriculum. At the meeting, experts from Tsinghua University, Peking University, Nanjing University, Nankai University and other colleges and universities exchanged experience in curriculum ideological and political practice.

After the video session, President Guoqing Gui and Vice President Qionghua Wang made speeches, affirming the enthusiasm and learning spirit of the participants. They thought that the interpretation and opinions of the experts on the ideological and political courses in the meeting were thought-provoking, and the practical results were worth learning from. At last, President Guoqing Gui encouraged all the secondary colleges to increase their thinking and study seriously, so as to explore a way of ideological and political construction of university curriculum that is suitable for our school-running philosophy and has its own characteristics.
