Dr. Junji Chen of the College of electronic information was invited to be the keynote speaker, and all students of grade 2018 attended.

In the course of the lecture, Dr. Chen gave five suggestions when analyzing how to face and solve the employment problems: first, we should find out our own position and correctly understand and evaluate ourselves from a multi-dimensional perspective. We should have a correct outlook on employment, adjust expectations in time, and be able to objectively analyze the employment situation. Second, we should constantly accumulate and improve ourselves, pay attention to the learning opportunities in school, and master the professional knowledge and practical skills. We should increase social experience, participate in skills competitions and improve comprehensive ability in an all-round way. Third, we should pay attention to the screening of employment enterprises, and choose the suitable post, which is the best. Fourth, we should broaden the channels of job hunting and learn to make high-quality resume. Fifth, in the process of job hunting, we should fully show our excellent quality, and show the sunny and energetic side in the process of delivering resume, telephone interview and interview.

   

After the lecture, the students said that this study helped them to have a deeper understanding of career planning, understand the importance of career planning, help themselves to clarify the employment direction and development goals of their major, and further achieve the purpose of enhancing employment confidence.
