Dean of the Institute of Civil Engineering Jiang Lei and His Partners Went to Universities in Yunnan for Inspection and Exchange

At the exchange meeting, the participants participated in the development orientation of the 14th Five-Year Plan, the development direction of the civil engineering profession, school-enterprise cooperation, the reform and innovation of the talent training model, the reform of the civil engineering curriculum and laboratory construction, the development direction of the engineering cost profession, and the student skills competition. What’s more, the undergraduate qualification assessment work experience and other aspects of discussions and exchanges in-depth. When they’re introducing the basic situation of Yunnan School of Economics and Management, Dean Fenghong Xiang emphasized that Yunnan School of Economics and Management is a college with undergraduates as the main undergraduate, supplemented by specialty colleges. It has more than 30,000 students now. When they’re talking about the school's undergraduate qualification assessment, Secretary Tao Zhang pointed out that in addition to the various assessment materials, a self-assessment report including the college profile, teaching results, existing problems and improvement measures must be carefully prepared. Finally, Weishi Wang, the deputy secretary of the Party branch, also shared with everyone the college's experience in developing the style of study.

After the meeting, Director Cheng Li of the Civil Engineering Comprehensive Training Center of the Engineering College of Yunnan Economic Management College accompanied Dean Lei and his partners to visit the Yunnan Economics and Management College Engineering Training Center, the Civil Engineering Comprehensive Training Center, the Mechanics Experimental Center and other training bases on-campus. Through this exchange and inspection activity, everyone said that the school’s experience in undergraduate qualification assessment, virtual simulation laboratory construction, and laboratory management is worth learning.
