Our School Organized and Held the First Batch of University Level Key Discipline Application and Evaluation Meeting

Net news (Article/ Photo Science and Technology Office Dongmei Xia )On the afternoon of April 9th, our school organized an expert review meeting for the construction of key disciplines, which focused on the evaluation of the two school-level key disciplines declared by our school.Assistant President Longfu Zhou ,Professor Yaoqin Cao, Professor Sen Bo and Professor Wenqiang Song were invited to serve as evaluation experts. Director of Discipline Office Wei Chen chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, software engineering, information and communication engineering, computer science and technology, design, business management, head of the five disciplines as subject overview, academic team, discipline direction, scientific research base, platform construction, academic exchanges, personnel training, the overall train of thought with the target, and construction measures and so on has carried on the report. The expert group comprehensively and objectively evaluated the contents of the discipline direction, discipline team construction, talent training quality, scientific research level, academic communication ability, support conditions guarantee and discipline construction tasks and measures, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions.

At the same time, the expert group also put forward the deficiencies and problems existing in the construction of key disciplines in our school. Team leader Longfu Zhou pointed out that the orientation of some disciplines and the condensed characteristics of disciplines need to be further clarified, and the academic structure, title structure, age structure and other aspects of the discipline team need to be further optimized. The guarantee measures of discipline construction, such as organization system and fund guarantee, need to be further strengthened.

Finally, after comprehensive evaluation, the expert group proposed to submit to the academic committee for examination and approval, and the university agreed to list the three disciplines of software engineering, information and communication engineering, computer science and technology as the first batch of key construction disciplines of our university, and the two disciplines of design and business administration as the first batch of general construction disciplines of our university.
