The Secretary for Science and Technology of Ba’nan District, Shan Xiao, and His Delegation Came to Our School to Conduct Research and Guidance

Net news (Articles/Photos School of Innovation and entrepreneurship Lele Wu) On the morning of April 1st, the secretary for science and technology of Ba’nan District, Shan Xiao, and the Under Secretary for Science and technology, Changrong Chen, visited the innovation and Entrepreneurship Park of our school and conducted a survey to guide the work of innovation and Entrepreneurship of our school.

Following their visit to the innovation and Entrepreneurship Park, director Xiao and his team, accompanied by the principal, Guoqing Gui, assistant to the principal, Longfu Zhou, and Yugang Jian, visited the teaching and practice bases in the park. Principal Gui briefed the guests on the basic situation of the campus, the construction plan and the outstanding achievements of our students in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship competition in recent years.

At the “Shuangchuang” center of the electronic and information department, Instructor Keqin Li introduced the Centers project patents, research and development products, and competition awards to the guests. After that, Xiao and his party also visited the Internet of things Application Innovation Center and business incubator base to understand the school business incubator project management.

After the visit, Xiao and his delegation attended the research workshop on Technology Innovation and entrepreneurship organised by the Banan District Science and Technology Bureau in Conference Room 104.

At the beginning of the meeting, the director of Science and technology,  Wei Chen, reported on the overall situation of science and technology innovation work in the school, Xianhang Xu, vice president of the College of Innovation and Entrepreneurship and deputy director of the school-enterprise cooperation office, reported on the school innovation and entrepreneurship work from four aspects: striving for a national-level record-keeping space, applying for seed funds, innovation and entrepreneurship education reform, and building a new campus. When talking about how our school promotes our school’s science and technology innovation and innovation and entrepreneurship work, President Guoqing Gui specifically talked about the outstanding highlights among them. First, the school orientation and talent training standards are closely related to the development of information technology industry and the distribution of intelligent industry in Chongqing. Secondly, the school promotes the “3 + x” school-enterprise cooperation and the integration of industry and education, it has laid an important foundation for ensuring scientific and technological innovation and innovation and entrepreneurship. When talking about the work proposal, Principal Gui made two special points: first, he hoped that the district Science and Technology Bureau and other departments would increase their support to the school; Second, he hoped that the relevant departments of the school would strengthen communication with the relevant units at higher levels.

The Under Secretary for Science and technology of Ba’nan District, Changrong Chen, gave full recognition to the school’s work in science, technology and innovation and entrepreneurship, and said that he would strongly support the school in striving for a national-level record-keeping and crowdfunding space. He stressed that we must implement the seed fund, Angel Fund, encourage our school to actively participate in the popular science explanation contest, Enabling Cup innovation and entrepreneurship competition, create an atmosphere of innovation and entrepreneurship.

Finally, Xiao thanked our school for its support to the work of science and Technology Innovation and Innovation and entrepreneurship, and affirmed that the atmosphere of science and technology innovation and innovation and entrepreneurship in our school is strong, effective and promising.
