On the evening of April 12th, the Foreign Language Teaching Department of General Education College hosted the first "Foreign Teachers Club · Ci Talent Cup" National College Students' English Vocabulary Proficiency Competition and "Ci Talent Cup" College Students' English Vocabulary Proficiency Competition (the preliminary round). The competition in chongqing is jointly organized by chongqing association of college foreign language teaching, chongqing association of higher education, chongqing association of higher vocational college foreign language teaching committee and Shanghai foreign language education press.

More than 4,000 people signed up for the preliminary contest, which was held on the online platform "Ci Talent". In the end, a total of 4,189 people completed the race, with a completion rate of 93.13 percent.
