The Institute of Software holds the theme lecture of "Data Driven Intelligence, Software Defines Everything"

Professor Junhao Wen, Party Secretary and Executive Vice President of Institute of Big Data and Software of Chongqing Institute of Engineering, was specially invited to share the forefront of the industry with the students. Dean Yue Wang of the Institute of Software, Vice Dean Huaping Li, Junliang Wang, Director of the Department of Software Engineering Yahong Leng, Student Section Chief Yang Li, Student Representatives of the Institute of Software and more than 200 people attended the event.

After the lecture began, Professor Wen analyzed the motivation for big data intelligence to usher in new opportunities from the perspective of national strategic needs. In the following content, Professor Wen focused on the two perspectives of data-driven intelligence and software-defined everything, combined with vivid cases, with real industrial data and real life examples, to introduce the development trend of software engineering, its role in all walks of life and employment prospects to students. At the end of the lecture, Professor Wen introduced the cultivation of students from the perspective of cultivating innovative talents and encouraged them to become the people who adapt to and control the future.
