College of Civil Engineering Students Won the National University Information Technology Competition

Net news (article/ picture College of Civil Engineering Gaoli) On April 23rd, the Organizing Committee of National University Student Structural Design Information Technology Competition officially announced the winner list, in which our school teams from College of Civil Engineering won one Group B Special Prize and two third prize.

The competition was officially launched in October 2020 and lasted 172 days, with 891 submissions from 186 schools in Group A and 225 submissions from 65 schools in Group B. This time, our College of civil engineering sent a total of three team groups to participate in the competition, led by our teachers, Ruiqiang Lian and Li Gao. After fierce competition, the team of Xiang Wang, Fei Chen, Jiahua Hou won the Group B Special Award, the team of Jiangyun Shui, Yan Wu, Kuntuan Zhou and the team of Rui Zhang, Xie Zhou, Weijie Zhang won the group B third prize.

As is known to all, National University Student Structural Design Information Technology Competition is held once a year, and this year is the third year. This important competition is hosted by the Chinese Civil Engineering Society Education Committee and Tsinghua University School of Civil Water Resources, aimed at promoting students of civil engineering to fully understand the civil engineering design knowledge points, and to have profound understandings of the cutting-edge technologies of the construction industry. This is the first time that our school won the prize in the national competition, which is not only an affirmation of the high teaching quality in our school, but also a strong confirmation of our school’s commitment to making contributions in the local economic development.
