Our University Held the Second Faculty and Staff Congress of Chongqing Institute of Engineering

Meanwhile, President Guoqing Gui, Party secretary and supervisor Mingshu Tan, Deputy party secretary and Executive vice president Yeping Zhang, Vice president Qionghua Wang, Secretary of Discipline Inspection Commission and chairman of trade union Xiaoyong Tang attended as representatives of the Education Congress. Xiong Li, vice chairman of the trade union, presided over the meeting. In the meeting, the university deliberated and adopted four document systems, such as the management measures for school Title Evaluation (recommendation) (Revision).

At the meeting, Comrade Yanyan Ming, Director of the personnel department, carefully interpreted the three document systems such as the management measures for Professional Title Evaluation (recommendation) of Chongqing Institute of Engineering (Revision), and Comrade Yougui Zhao, deputy director of the academic affairs office, made a detailed interpretation of the revision background and revision contents of the measures for identification and handling of teaching accidents (Revision). After the discussion of all members, the representatives attending the meeting voted and approved four systems, including the implementation measures for Professional Title Evaluation (recommendation) of Chongqing Institute of Engineering (Revised). The revision of the above measures is in line with the reality of school management, teaching staff construction, reform and development.

The meeting was realistic and pragmatic, grounded, based on the public opinion in the warm and orderly atmosphere. All representatives actively participated in the meeting, discussed practically, voted seriously, and performed their duties well, which fully reflected the high sense of responsibility of the participants in the democratic management and decision-making of the school with the ownership of heavy industry.

After the meeting, the delegates unanimously said that in the future, the school will take the implementation measures for Professional Title Evaluation (recommendation) of Chongqing Institute of Engineering (Revised) and other four systems as the yardstick, continuously improve the education and teaching ability, teaching and scientific research level, promote the reform and development of the school, adhere to the spirit of the school motto of "responsibility, trustworthiness, refinement and innovation", and firmly establish the spirit of "Building Morality and cultivating people" This fundamental task is to concentrate and work hard to build the university into a high-level engineering and Technology University with distinctive characteristics.
