Library Staff Went to Five University Libraries in Wuhan to Study

Net news (article/picture library Shiyong Tang) In order to learn from the advanced experience of other university libraries and broaden their working ideas, on May 10st-12rd, Xiaoxu Pan, director of the school library, went to Wuhan University, Wuhan University of Technology, National Cyber Security College, Wuchang Shouyi College and Wuchang Institute of Technology Library for a study tour.

The study was organized by the Chongqing National University Library Collaboration Group, and consisted of six university libraries, including Chongqing Institute of Engineering, Chongqing College of Humanities, Science & Technology, Chongqing Institute of Finance and Economics, Chongqing Institute of Foreign Economics and Trade, Chongqing Foreign Language Institute and Chongqing Urban College of Science and Technology. Early through the Chongqing Municipal Planning and Works Commission to assist in contact with the Hubei Provincial Planning and Engineering Commission unified arrangements, select a leading university library in a certain field for study, focusing on the construction of new buildings, cultural construction, information construction and information services. During the visit, the members of the delegation received a warm reception from the relevant library officials, through visits to the premises, business talks, counterpart negotiations and other forms of work, around the "14th Five-Year Plan" planning, building, cultural construction, resource construction, reading promotion, team building, subject services, new technology applications and other aspects of in-depth exchanges and discussions, each museum on the advantages and shortcomings of the building.

According to Director Pan, Peng Hua, Deputy Director of the Library of Wuhan University of Technology, introduced the functional layout of the school's general branch, Wuchang Shouyi College Library Director Zhan Meng explained the subject services and the construction of the new museum, Wuchang Institute of Technology Librarian Zhou Xiaoxuan put forward the old library renovation program and other content, the library of our school in the future to carry out various work has an important reference value and enlightening role. Our library will establish closer ties with other libraries in the city in the future, in the resource co-construction, information sharing, reading promotion and other aspects of cooperation intention, in order to better provide readers with a wider range of better services.
