Our School Successfully Completed the Defense of Graduation Project (Thesis) of 2021 Undergraduate Students

Net news (articles/pictures dean's office Lan Luo) On May 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd, the graduation project or thesis defense of undergraduate students of Grade 2021 of our school was conducted in the sixth teaching building and practical training building of Nanquan Campus. During the defense, Gui Yang, assistant to the principal, and the staff of the Practice Section of the Academic Affairs Office inspected the field work.

 A total of 3,013 students from 7 professional colleges including Big Data and Artificial Intelligence College, Software College and Digital Art College participated in the graduation design or thesis defense. The defense time is chosen to be held on weekends, and there are defense classrooms and waiting rooms for students at the defense sites of secondary colleges. The students who participated in the defense were full of energy, dressed neatly and dignified, and mainly used PPT to present and report the graduation project or thesis, while some students showed the functions of the designed physical works. The respondent judges focused on the thematic significance and innovative value of students' graduation designs or thesis, and asked the respondent students professional questions from the aspects of literature reading, basic theory, application of professional knowledge, calculation methods, and experimental tests.

It is understood that each college has specially formulated a defense work plan in strict accordance with the school's requirements on graduation design or thesis. Each college set up a defense committee and a defense team, and defined the specific implementation links and requirements such as formal review, on-site defense, performance evaluation and data archiving.
