Our Students Otained an Excellent Success in the Calisthenics Competition of College Students in Chongqing

Net news (article/ picture general education college Jiali Yang ) From May 19th to 22nd, our cheerleaders participated in the 2021 Chongqing college students calisthenics competition, which was held in the auditorium of Sichuan International Studies University. Under the careful guidance of coaches Tiao Yuan and Yonglian Wang, 16 cheer-leading team members, after careful arrangement and hard training before the competition, won the fourth place in the cheer-leading group competition of group A in colleges and universities, including Yuting Yang, a student of the Institute of computer and Internet of things, Yanlin Sheng, a student of the Institute of civil engineering, Jing Zhou, a student of the Institute of digital arts, were rated as an advanced individual in sports ethics by the Organizing Committee for their excellent performance during the competition.

The competition was hosted by Chongqing municipal government, Chongqing Municipal Bureau of sports and Chongqing Municipal Education Commission and undertaken by Sichuan international Studies University. A total of 586 athletes from 33 colleges and universities in Chongqing signed up to compete for the terms of calisthenics, cheer-leading and line dance. During the competition, the members of the cheer-leading team of our university have beautiful posture, professional performance and novel program arrangement. All the contestants have neat steps and powerful actions, which fully reflects the high morale and positive youthful vitality of contemporary college students.

According to the teacher in charge of the team, during the whole competition, all the staff kept in mind the heavy industry school motto of "conscientiousness, trustworthiness, refinement and innovation", fully carried forward the spiritual quality of collective cooperation, hard work and positive progress of the cheer-leading team, and demonstrated the upward spirit of hard work, enterprising and unity of Chongqing Institute of Engineering.The students have also improved their collective sense of honor and concept of honor and disgrace by participating in the competition. After returning to school, they will work harder to train and strive to win more honors for the school in the future.
