Our Teachers Won the Second Prize in the 2021 National Physics Foundation Course Young Teachers' Lecture Competition (Chongqing Division)

Net news(article/teacher development center Xiaoying Zhang picture/General Education College Nan Zhang)Recently, the University Physics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the Physics Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education and the Teaching Committee of the Chinese Physics Society, led by Chongqing Physics Society, The 2021 National College Physics Foundation Course Teaching Competition for Young Teachers (Chongqing Division) organized by school of Physical Science and Technology of Southwest University came to an end in Southwest University, and physics teacher Nan Zhang of Southwest University won the second prize.

The competition covers a knowledge points in the 2010 edition of "Basic Requirements for Physics Course Teaching in Science and Engineering Universities", and has been selected into the "2020 National Teaching Competition For College Teachers" by China Association for Higher Education. The preliminary competition will be conducted by the participating teachers according to the order of drawing lots and the content of the teaching competition selected by themselves. The teaching time is 25 minutes, mainly teaching the basic concepts, basic laws and theorems of university physics and their applications, and the background knowledge of the history of physics can be interspersed according to the teaching needs. Teacher lectures, Nan Zhang in high spirit, lectures clear, vivid, and from Chongqing University, Southwest University, Chongqing Jiaotong University, Chongqing Normal University, Chongqing University of Science and Technology and other colleges and universities teacher to compete, shows the distinctive characteristics of young teachers in our school and a higher level of classroom teaching, shows the new teaching ideas and concepts, impress everyone.

It is understood that the competition for young teachers, learning view and lectures display platform,which is a normal teaching level of young teachers of our school an inspection and affirmation, and it is conducive to further inspire and encourage young teachers in our school in physics foundation course teaching, improve teachers' teaching level, promote teaching reform and the improvement of teaching quality in colleges and universities.
