The Youth League Committee of CQIE Held a Lecture on "Peer Salon for Learning Gas Stations"

Net news (article/ picture the Youth League Zhichun Jin) In order to further implement the "Implementation Plan for Strengthening and Improving the Work of the Student Union of the New Era Student Union", on the afternoon of June 9th, the Youth League Committee of our school carried out a lecture on the theme of "I Do Things for My Classmates-Peer Salon for Learning Gas Stations", Yuting Zhou, Shiyi Chen's two alumni shared their experience of studying for postgraduate entrance examinations and CET-4 and CET-6.

Yuting Zhou has won the first prize of Category C in the National College English Contest, the third prize of the 11th "Foreign Teachers Club Cup"  of Chongqing College Student English Speech Contest, CET-6 certificate, other provincial and municipal awards. In the lecture, she used her practical experience to explain to the students the listening skills and translation skills in the CET-4 and CET-6. She also introduced her own exclusive word memorization method, which pointed out the right direction for the students to review and prepare for the exam.

Focusing on the theme of "The Road to Postgraduate Entrance Examination, You and Me", Chen Shiyi introduced her study experience when she was admitted to Southwest University for a master's degree this year. She carefully and comprehensively told the students about the school selection to admission, from the written examination to the re-examination. She also encouraged everyone to study diligently, lay a solid foundation, have the courage to try and work tirelessly for their bright future.

It is understood that this theme lecture is the first event of "I Do Things for My Classmates-Peer Salon of Learning Gas Station". In the follow-up, our school’s student committee will successively invite academic authorities and industry elites in various fields inside and outside the school as students. We bring face-to-face preaching and experience sharing. Our student union will always adhere to the purpose of "Serving Students Wholeheartedly", listen carefully to the voice of every student and use practical actions to solve problems for students.
