Yeping Zhang Attended the Promotion Meeting of 2021 College Graduates’ Employment Held by Chongqing Education Commission and Made A Keynote Speech

Net news (artcle/picture Recruitment and Employment Department Qiuqing Ye) On June 3th, the State Council organized a national television and telephone conference on employment and entrepreneurship for graduates of regular institutions of higher learning, in accordance with the instructions of Premier Keqiang Li, Vice Premier Chunlan Sun and Vice Premier Chunhua Hu delivered important speeches at the meeting. In order to implement the spirit of the meeting, on June 7th, Chongqing Municipal Education Commission organized all colleges and universities to hold 2021 college graduates employment promotion meeting, the meeting was presided over by Hongwei Liu director of the Student Affairs Office of the Municipal Education Commission. Yeping Zhang,  deputy secretary of the party committee and executive vice president of our university, and You Wu, deputy director of recruitment and employment office attended the meeting.

At the meeting, representatives from Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Institute of Engineering, Chongqing Preschool Teachers College, Chongqing Aerospace Vocational and Technical College and other four colleges and universities came to the stage to make an exchange speech. Chongqing university technical secondary school graduates employment service guidance center deputy director Xueping Tang analyzed Chongqing University graduates employment work status and existing problems, municipal education committee full-time deputy secretary Zhengjie Qin layout work and put forward requirements. On behalf of Chongqing Institute of Technology, Yeping Zhang, with the theme of “Focusing on the ‘Five Intensification’ to ensure the continuous and stable employment of graduates”, introduced in detail the positive results obtained by the university in implementing the decision and deployment of the CPC Central Committee and vigorously promoting employment, as well as the experience, practices and features of the university's employment work. The content of the speech focuses on “five strengthening”, namely: strengthening the “first handle” project, to ensure that the employment work “four in place”; to bolster the detailed implementation of work, to ensure that the base is clear, accurate information; strengthen multi-channel employment guidance to ensure accurate and effective services; build up job market expansion to ensure the role of the main employment recommendation channel; we will enhance community-level project guidance to ensure that more graduates serve the motherland.

In 2021, universities are faced with a record number of graduates and the continuing impact of COVID-19 on the global economy. Chongqing Institute of Engineering thoroughly implements the important decisions and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee, the State Council and the Ministry of Education, implements the relevant work requirements of the Municipal Education Commission, attaches great importance to and makes solid progress, to ensure the steady progress of the employment of 2021 graduates, and to present a gift to the 100th anniversary of the Communist Party of China with practical actions.
