Shuangqiao Campus (General Studies College) Held a “Micro-Class Production” Training Session

Net news (Article/Photo Jiali Yang, General Studies College) In order to enhance teachers’ micro-class design concept and level, enhance the ability of in-depth integration of information technology and education and teaching, promote mutual exchange and learning among teachers. On the afternoon of June 1st, the Shuangqiao campus held a “micro-class production” training session in the Academic Lecture Hall. The training was lectured by Wei Yan, the Deputy Director of the Management Committee of Shuangqiao Campus, Director of the Office of Teaching Affairs, and Deputy Dean of the School of General Studies. All full-time teachers (including part-time tutors) of the General Studies College participated in the training.

In the training class, Dean Yan first talked about his experience of participating in three micro-class competitions, and explained what a micro-class is in terms of its manifestations, main functions, main features and supporting technologies in detailed. Through playing and explaining the award-winning micro-class works to show what is an excellent micro-class. Dean Yan emphasized that excellent micro-class works should require careful instructional design, diverse video recording methods, excellent post-production, and complete short film elements. Finally, he briefly explained the basic process and basic tools to be used for micro-class production.

It is understood that this training provides guidance and assistance on the relevant theories and skills of the micro-class competition, and earnestly understand the work requirements of micro-class learning. Through the training, teachers have a deeper understanding of micro-classes and a new experience in the production of micro-classes, which has effectively promoted the professional growth of teachers in CQIE, improved the level of informatization teaching of teachers, and laid a solid foundation for the subsequent micro-class competitions carried out by the campus.
