Shuangqiao Campus Holds 2021 Chongqing Institute of Technology College Students Physics Innovation Competition

Net news(article/picture by Nan Zhang, School of General Studies) On June 29th, the Shuangqiao Campus of our school held the 2021 Chongqing Institute of Technology College Students Physics Experiment Innovation Competition (Innovation Competition ), this competition aims to cultivate students' interest in physics learning, improve students' innovative and practical ability, and better apply modern physics knowledge to solve practical problems. The experimental competition selects outstanding students.

This competition is sponsored by Chongqing Institute of Technology and undertaken by the Physics Teaching Department of the College of General Studies. It is divided into three stages: publicity and registration, competition preparation, and competition implementation. In the early stage, the students actively signed up, prepared carefully, and finally determined 6 teams to enter the final stage. More than 40 students visited the final scene, and the atmosphere was warm. The competition was presided over by teacher Guohui Yang from the School of Liberal Studies, and five teachers, Nan Zhang, Tonghui Zhou, Yang Chen, Zhuojun Duan and Guohui Yang, participated in the review. During the competition, representatives of 6 teams gave wonderful explanations to the works of this group, and the judges asked questions and suggested the content of the explanations.

After an hour of speech and defense, the judges scored on the spot according to the scoring standards, and finally decided the awards for this competition, including 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, and 3 third prizes, which were finally announced by Mr. Nan Zhang. This competition has promoted the continuous development of our school's physics teaching reform work, and also created a good learning atmosphere, cultivated students' interest in physics learning, improved students' ability to innovate and practice, and also reflected the strong students of our school.
