Digital Media Arts College Convened a Symposium for External Teachers

Dean Kaifu Yang, Deputy Dean Taowen Zhuang, and Fei Yang, heads of various departments of the Digital Media Arts College, as well as all external teachers attended the meeting.

During symposium, Secretary Xu expressed his gratitude to participants on behalf of the Digital Media Arts College for starters. Vice-President Fei Yang introduced the specific conditions of the teaching laboratory construction, scientific research platform, and school-enterprise cooperation. Subsequently, Deputy Dean Taowen Zhuang explained the teaching-related working documents in detail and emphasized the requirements of work, such as classroom words and deeds, content and quality. During the communication, teachers talked about their own experiences, including matching teaching tasks, familiarity with teaching links, the overall learning status of students, the progress of teaching in the college, the relationship between training professionals and corporate recruitment needs, etc. In addition, teachers also carefully analyzed the teaching problems that need to be solved and put forward pertinent and useful opinions and suggestions on teaching arrangements, curriculum implementation, and practical teaching equipment. The heads of each department also made responses.

After the discussion, President Kaifu Yang made a summary speech around three aspects: gratitude. communication and prospect. He appreciated all the external teachers for their contributions and fully affirmed their positive role in promoting the development of the college curriculum. Meanwhile, only faculty leadership and vocational departments interacting with external teachers can ensure smooth implementation of teaching. The external teachers are the backbone of the faculty of the college and play an important role in the development of the college, hoping that they can contribute to the construction of the college.
