The School of Civil Engineering Held a Symposium for New Employees in the Spring and Autumn of 2021

Net news (article/ picture School of Civil Engineering Yunying Mao) At 9:00 a.m. on July 9th, 2021, the School of Civil Engineering held a symposium for new employees in the spring and autumn of 2021 in conference room 212. The meeting was presided  by Dean Jiang Lei, and all the college-level leaders and 27 new employees who were recruited in the spring and autumn of 2021 participated in the discussion.

The symposium is divided into two parts. The first part is the new employee meeting in the fall of 2021. The new employees exchanged and shared their feelings since joining. Taotao Gao, a teacher from the Department of Civil Engineering, said that during the two days of participating in the new employee training of Chongqing Institute of Engineering in the fall of 2021, she felt the school's sound rules and regulations, complete work processes, and innovative work concepts. The enthusiastic speeches of the leaders gave the new employees a strong sense of belonging. It is now a critical period for the school to accept the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching. They hope to grow together with the school through their own efforts. The second part is the symposium for new recruits in the spring of 2021. Teacher Shucheng Wang from the Department of Civil Engineering, Ni Lan, Sijia Ye and Yingying Xie from the Department of Environmental Design and other new teachers who have been employed for nearly half a year shared their learning and growth in teaching.

Secretary Heping Tang emphasized the standard requirements of teachers' morality and style, and the ideological control of classroom teaching. Deputy Dean Jinneng Wang introduced the basic teaching work norms, and pointed out that the current work focus of units at all levels of the school is to meet the qualification assessment of undergraduate teaching, and teachers should strengthen their studies to make all teaching work meet the norms. Vice President Quping Zhu introduced the content of the college's scientific research projects and school-enterprise cooperation, and hoped that new employees will actively apply for scientific research projects and promote rapid personal growth.

On behalf of the college leadership, Dean Jiang Lei welcomed all the new employees, and pointed out that the meeting was held to allow new employees to get to know each other and strengthen exchanges. Dean Jiang Lei hopes that everyone can take root in heavy industry and devote themselves to teaching so that they can contribute to the development of the school while achieving the results of their own work.
