The Registrar’s Office Held Training Sessions for Laboratory Administrators

Net news (Article / Photo Ke Chen, Academic Affairs Office) On the afternoon of August 31st, the Academic Affairs Office carried out special training for laboratory managers in the Training Building 111, and Yanlian Chen, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, Lihua Yan of the Academic Affairs Office, and laboratory administrators of various secondary units attended the meeting, and Ke Chen of the Academic Affairs Office presided over the meeting.

First of all, Ke Chen interpreted the relevant systems, work processes and laboratory data management archiving requirements of CQIE’s laboratory management for training, and trained on the filling in of the laboratory operation process management manual.

Then Yanlian Chen interpreted the “Duties of Laboratory Administrators”, “Duties of Experimental Instructors”, “Regulations on Experimental Safety and Health”, “Code of Conduct for Student Experiments” and “Regulations on the Management of Experimental Openness”. She particularly emphasized that the laboratory managers of universities, as the managers of laboratories, the implementers and undertakers of experimental teaching and scientific research tasks, have an irreplaceable role in talent training and scientific research. The establishment of a well-structured, excellent professional quality and high professional skills of the experimental technical team is an important guarantee for improving the quality of experimental teaching and achieving the goal of talent training.

Finally, the participants had a full exchange with Yanlian Chen and Lihua Yan on the problems and difficulties encountered in laboratory management.

This training takes the undergraduate teaching qualification assessment as an opportunity, based on solving the practical problems in the current laboratory construction and management, and will play a useful guiding role in the construction and management of the laboratory in CQIE.
