Our School’s “Yunzhi” Volunteer Service Team was Presented with A Pennant

This year, Pioneer Village won the honorary title of the second batch of rural construction demonstration villages in the country. In order to thank our school for its support in various projects, a pennant was specially presented. Ling Pan, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Village Committee of Pioneer Village, and Hongzhi He, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, led the team to the school. Wei Shang, Secretary of the Party Branch of the School of Big Data, Huijun Wang, Secretary of the Youth League Committee, and Fu Jing, the instructor of the “Yunzhi” Volunteer Service Team, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Ling Pan and Wei Shang summed up the development of the practice base activities and related achievements this year respectively, and both sides fully affirmed the cooperation work. Secretary Ling Pan thanked the “Yunzhi” volunteer service team for their contribution to rural revitalization. Secretary Pan said that the service team has promoted the leadership of party building, strengthened humanistic care, improved environmental sanitation, driven villagers to create literature, and improved the quality of the masses. Then communicated with the base practice activities in 2022, and proposed plans from three aspects: first, to strengthen the leadership of party building and promote in-depth cooperation between villages and schools; second, to strengthen students' work skills and improve the quality of practical activities; third, to condense characteristics and create high-quality projects.

It is reported that under the guidance of the Youth League Committee of the school, the “Yunzhi” volunteer service team has implemented the work of the Big Data College. This year, the “Yunzhi” volunteer service team carried out 52 activities in 12 communities, villages, schools, enterprises and other cooperative units. The activities involved practical activities such as red publicity, legal propaganda, epidemic prevention and control, professional practice, children's programming, respecting the elderly and caring for the young, patrolling the river and protecting the river, covering more than 800 party members, prospective party members, development targets, activists, and members of the Communist Youth League. The event has been reported by official media platforms such as “Kan Banan” for many times.
