Net news (article/picture Science and Technology Department Shiyi Li) In order to further strengthen the atmosphere of campus scientific research, improve students' language and writing ability, adapt to the needs of regional social and economic development talents, and better cultivate a new generation of college students with "good and strong" qualities, the Science and Technology Office and the Student Affairs Office jointly held a lecture on "How Students Do Scientific Research" in 7 Jiao 7807 on April 7th. The meeting was presided over by Junliang Wang, deputy director of the Science and Technology Department, and student representatives from various colleges and some student scientific research instructors attended the lecture.

Yan Huang, director of the Student Affairs Office, first mobilized the activity. She pointed out that students' active participation in scientific research activities is conducive to their all-round development, and the school will build offline salons, paper evaluations, academic lectures and other platforms for students, so that more students can devote themselves to scientific research and feel the charm of scientific research.

Professor Xuejiao Tao of the School of Software and Professor Dongmei Xia of the College Student Quality Education Center shared and exchanged views with the students on the theme of "How Students Do Scientific Research". Xuejiao Tao mainly started from the writing of college students' scientific and technological papers, and explained the basic ways for students to participate in scientific research, the basic structure of scientific research papers, and the analysis of common problems. Dongmei Xia focused on humanities and social sciences research, and gave scientific research guidance from three aspects: how to find problems, how to study problems, and how to form results. The explanations of the two professors combined with professional courses and specific cases were carried out in simple terms, with strong interactivity, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, which achieved the expected purpose.

Junliang Wang said at the meeting that he hoped that students would read relevant literature widely in their daily lives, further expand their professional horizons, learn analysis, logic, writing, think more, practice more, and write more papers, so as to continuously improve their comprehensive quality and lay a solid foundation for personal development.

This lecture is an important part of the "Science and Technology Innovation Heavy Industry" student research series activities. In the next step, the Office of Science and Technology will work closely with the Office of Student Affairs to provide a platform and create opportunities for all students to participate in scientific and technological research and creation and invention activities, so as to better escort the healthy growth of students.
