The library of Chongqing University of Foreign Languages and Foreign Affairs Came to Our School for Exchange and Study

Net news (article Library Shiyong Tang/ picture Library Shimei Deng, Congrong Liao) On April 24^th, Ling Li, Director of the Library of Chongqing University of Foreign Languages, and Jianfeng Xia, Deputy Director of the Library, came to the library of Chongqing University for business exchange and study. Xiaoxu Pan, director of the library of our university, and heads of relevant departments accompanied him.

In the afternoon, the delegation of Chongqing University of Foreign Languages and Foreign Affairs first visited the main library of Nanquan Library and the second department of Nanquan Library, and conducted on-site exchanges on issues such as reading area management, dense book stacks, cultural space construction, big data management, and smart services.

At the subsequent symposium, Xiaoxu Pan briefly introduced the layout of the library, functional design, informatization construction and service, reading promotion work, etc., and introduced in detail the basic ideas, work measures and implementation results of our university in the construction of paper and electricity resources and the construction of "smart library", and shared the process experience and suggestions for improvement. Ling Li and Jianfeng Xia briefly introduced the work of the library of Chongqing University of Foreign Languages and Foreign Affairs in the construction of the new library and smart services, and fully affirmed the construction achievements and operation status of the library in related fields. In addition, the two sides also had heated discussions on the construction of collection resources, disciplines and information services, information literacy education, innovation services and smart campus construction. After the meeting, I visited the theme exhibition of "Hongyan Spirit ̇ Shine Forever" of our school.

This interlibrary exchange activity has further strengthened the communication and cooperation between brother units, continuously innovated work ideas, better played its own advantages, strengthened business cooperation, and jointly promoted the construction of literature and information and the improvement of service quality, which has a positive role in promoting the construction and development of our library.
