Our School's 10th Reading Festival Series of Activities Officially Opened

Net News (article/library Shiyong Tang picture/College Student Journalist Team)In order to enrich the cultural life of all teachers and students in the school, create a strong reading atmosphere, and build a distinctive campus reading culture, on the occasion of the 29th World Reading Day, the 10th "Digital Intelligence Book Fragrance · Future Reading" themed reading festival of our school opened on April 24th at both the Nanquan and Shuangqiao campuses.

On the day of the opening event, the library set up 14 digital resource promotion booths and invited representatives from 22 database resource providers to receive various consultations from readers on site, distributing learning materials and promotional brochures. The College Student Image Management Service Center has set up multiple activities on site, including pot throwing games, fan drawing, rubbings printing, calligraphy exhibitions, Chinese chess, and Go matches. These activities were held simultaneously in the libraries of both campuses and were warmly welcomed by readers. Teachers and students experienced the strong charm of traditional cultural activities in a relaxed and joyful atmosphere.

Vice Principal Qionghua Wang personally attended the opening event and had a friendly exchange with the participating digital resource providers and teachers and students, and took a group photo as a souvenir. Teachers from the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, the Student Affairs Office, the Academic Affairs Office, and the Second level College also attended the event, experiencing digital reading with their classmates and advocating for a "heavy industry of books".

The ideological and political expert lecture exhibition "Code Learning of Ideological and Political Knowledge" jointly organized by the library and China University of Science and Technology Education, as well as the Ba Culture Series Event "Shiqiao Misty Rain" Daxi River Ancient Bridge Exhibition jointly organized by the Chongqing Ba People's Museum, were also held at the small square of the library headquarters in Nanquan Campus, which received widespread attention from readers. Teachers and students scanned the code to listen, stopped and watched, creating a good learning atmosphere.

The 10th Reading Festival will continue until early June. In addition to the above activities, there will be "Reader's Star" selection, information literacy series activities, original works collection competition, and "National Charm Flowing Fragrance" ˙ Traditional cultural activities such as "Beauty Education Runs the Heart", original works collection competition, and "Shining China" ˙ The "Inheriting Me" speech competition has been held offline, on PC, and on mobile simultaneously.
