Academic Affairs Office Conducts Mid-term Teaching Inspections at Shuangqiao Campus

Net news(Article/Picture Dean's Office Mingquan Gong ) In order to strengthen the monitoring of the teaching process, gain a deeper understanding of the current situation of teaching quality, ensure the standardized, benign, and effective operation of teaching work, deepen the effectiveness of qualified evaluation, and continue to promote the development of teaching quality connotation, according to the overall arrangement of mid-term teaching inspection work, the Academic Affairs Department conducted a mid-term teaching inspection at Shuangqiao Campus on June 5th and organized teaching training on site.

The inspection team was led by Qian Yang, the Director of the Academic Affairs Office, and Yanlian Chen, the Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office, Xiaobo Zhou, and five other members participated in the inspection.

The on-site inspection work revolves around teaching inspections and classroom teaching quality, the construction and use of courses on the Zhixue Heavy Industry Platform, the execution of teaching outlines and schedules, the selection and use of textbooks, the implementation and recording of process assessments, the organization of exemplary grassroots teaching, the operation and management of practical teaching, and the teaching and internship at the internship base. During the inspection process, the inspectors carefully reviewed the teaching materials, visited the site, and had detailed communication and exchange with relevant personnel.

After the inspection, the inspection team provided feedback on the inspection opinions, proposed rectification requirements, and had in-depth discussions with the teaching management personnel and teacher representatives of Shuangqiao Campus, listening to the opinions and suggestions of teachers on teaching and teaching management work.

In order to improve the level of teaching management, enhance the understanding of teaching reform, and stimulate the vitality of teaching innovation, Yang Qian also conducted training for teaching management personnel and teacher representatives at Shuangqiao Campus under the theme of "School Teaching Reform Ideas and Paths". The training is introduced from the disruptive role of the new generation of information technology in higher education, combined with the requirements of our school's teaching reform year and qualification evaluation and rectification year. It focuses on key work such as evaluation of the achievement of teaching objectives, blended online and offline teaching, construction of case library project library, and curriculum assessment reform, analyzes the teaching reform ideas and paths of the school, and further clarifies the work requirements.

The school conducts mid-term teaching inspections through a combination of regular, comprehensive, self inspection, and supervision, which plays an important role in strengthening the standardized management of teaching operation, promoting teaching reform, enhancing teacher teaching ability, and promoting high-quality development of teaching work.
