The School Organizes The Demonstration of The 2024 Laboratory Construction Project

Net news (article/picture Academic Affairs Office Kefeng Jiang) On the morning of June 4^th, the school held a meeting in the fifth conference room of the administration building to organize the demonstration of the 2024 laboratory construction project. Yeping Zhang, Executive Vice President and Deputy Secretary of the University, Mingshu Tan, Vice President, Xiaolin Wang, Chief Financial Officer and Director of the Finance Department, Longfu Zhou, Assistant to the President and Dean of the School of Software, Jun Zou, Assistant to the President and Dean of the School of New Media and Electronic Business, Dean of the Secondary College and heads of relevant functional departments attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Qian Yang, Director of Academic Affairs.

At the meeting, the Academic Affairs Office introduced the overall situation of the 2024 laboratory construction application. Each unit reported one by one on the necessity of laboratory construction, the main construction plan, the expected use and the budget. The participants discussed and exchanged the declaration of each unit, questioned the relevant issues, and also put forward opinions and suggestions.

At the meeting, Xiaolin Wang reaffirmed the principle of investment in laboratory construction and explained the problems related to the utilization rate of the laboratory. Mingshu Tan introduced the preliminary laboratory construction and research, and asked all units to further optimize the plan according to the spirit of the meeting. Finally, Yeping Zhang put forward three requirements for the construction of the school's laboratory: first, it is necessary to strengthen the overall planning, coordinate the existing laboratory situation, make full use of the existing resources, and avoid duplicate construction; Second, it is necessary to highlight the advanced, and the construction of the laboratory should reflect a certain forward-looking and advanced nature; Third, it is necessary to strengthen communication, and all units should promote follow-up work according to the laboratory construction process, and at the same time take the initiative to coordinate and communicate to ensure that the construction task is completed as scheduled.
