On the afternoon of September 13th, the Shuangqiao Campus held a grand 2024 autumn semester faculty conference in the auditorium. Xiaoyong Tang, Deputy Secretary of the School Party Committee and Director of the Shuangqiao Campus Management Committee, Guohua Jiang, Assistant to the President, Minister of the Organization Department, and Dean of the Basic College, attended the meeting. All faculty and staff of Shuangqiao Campus attended the conference, which was chaired by Jian Sun, Deputy Secretary of the Campus Party Working Committee and Director of the Student Affairs Office.

At the beginning of the meeting, Jian Sun interpreted the work plan and specific work requirements for the 2024 New Year registration. We hope that all faculty and staff will conscientiously implement the requirements of the "four systems" work, and devote themselves to the welcoming work with full spirit, ensuring safety, orderliness, enthusiasm, thoughtfulness, and meticulousness, so that students can have the warmth of returning home from the moment they enter the campus.

Subsequently, Shikui Wu, the director of the campus teaching work office and assistant to the director of the academic affairs office, made arrangements for the preparation and operation of the teaching work for the start of the school year.

Subsequently, Guohua Jiang put forward clear requirements for the preparation, operation, and reform of campus opening teaching, requiring all departments of the campus to cooperate and work together to complete various tasks such as welcoming students and teaching.

Finally, Xiaoyong Tang gave a report on the functional positioning and development plan of Shuangqiao Campus, the construction and maintenance of the second phase of Shuangqiao Campus, and the enrollment situation in 2024. He also arranged and deployed the key work for the autumn semester of 2024. Firstly, we must adhere to the guidance of Party building without relaxing, continuously strengthen theoretical armament, and persistently use Jinping XiThought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era to solidify our hearts and forge our souls. The second is to unwaveringly adhere to the three strategic goals of "actively preparing for review and evaluation, applying for the establishment of new master's degree granting projects in Chongqing, and renaming universities", and continuously write a new chapter in the construction process of Shuangqiao Campus in the new era, new journey, and new heavy industry. The third is to highlight the construction and reform of teaching connotation, deeply promote the construction of an applied talent training system, and explore the talent training characteristics of deep integration of industry and education, and the integration of learning and practice. The fourth is to promote the construction of the teaching staff, adhere to the first standard of teacher ethics and style, and ensure that the construction of teacher ethics and style runs through the entire process. We will vigorously promote the spirit of educators, continuously improve our ability to educate and nurture students, and focus on cultivating a high-quality and professional teaching staff with noble teacher ethics, excellent professional skills, reasonable structure, and full of vitality. The fifth is to comprehensively and solidly carry out student work, focusing on establishing a map of ideological and political education resources, strengthening the construction of academic atmosphere, improving the student guidance and service system, strengthening the construction of the counselor team, and continuously improving the level of student education management and service.
