The School Held a Roadshow for the Transformation of Scientific and Technological Achievements in 2024

On October 18th, the school successfully held the 2024 Science and Technology Achievement Transformation Roadshow in Hall 7807. After recommendations from various units, the leaders of six scientific research achievements, including the "Virtual Simulation Project" and "Low Temperature Environmental Protection Asphalt Technology", conducted roadshows and reports. Three judges,Lele Wu from the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship,Bo Tang from the School of Management, and Li Li from the School of New Media and E-commerce, respectively evaluated the above achievements. Professor Zhourong Li from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing also shared his experience on the construction of the "industry university research application" link. The event was hosted by Shiyi Li from the Science and Technology Department, and about 300 teachers and students from the whole school participated in the observation and learning.

During the event, each responsible person presented a comprehensive overview of the existing achievements, core technological features, market demand analysis, business model, market competition situation, financial forecast and financing plan, project team introduction, partners and successful cases. The three judges provided relevant suggestions for the subsequent development of the results from the aspects of achievement transformation conditions, commercial planning feasibility, and commercial promotion strategies. The judges believe that the above scientific and technological achievements have certain scientific and technological progressiveness and market promotion, but they need to be further improved in terms of transformation maturity and commercial packaging. The attendees actively exchanged and discussed the paths and strategies for the transformation of scientific and technological achievements, preparing for the subsequent participation in the city's "four chain integration" industry university research exchange and docking activities.

Since the beginning of this year, our university has actively responded to the spirit of relevant documents on scientific and technological innovation in the city, with the goal of better promoting the development of new quality productivity, better integrating into the "33618" modern manufacturing cluster system in the city, and better serving regional economic and social development. We have actively promoted the cultivation and transformation of scientific and technological achievements, striving to form a scientific research achievement orientation, and gradually establishing a new concept of "scientific and technological achievements from universities to enterprises, from laboratories to production lines, and from bookshelves to shelves" for all scientific and technological workers in the school. Through this event, the effectiveness of cultivating scientific and technological achievements in the early stage was further tested, and the school's development ideas for the integration of industry, academia, and research were opened up. Next, the school will carry out regular science and technology roadshows, promoting more high-quality achievements to the market and achieving transformation, fully stimulating the scientific research vitality of all teachers and students, and promoting the development of science and technology innovation work at a higher level.
