Vice President and Acting President Yeping Zhang, the deans of each professional college, the party secretaries of each college, the employment directors, all 25th graduating class counselors, and all members of the Career Guidance Center participated in the meeting. The meeting was hosted by the Deputy Director of the Admissions and Employment Office and Director of the Career Guidance Center, You Wu.

At the meeting, You Wu first gave a comprehensive review of the employment situation of the 2024 graduates, analyzed the trends and challenges behind the employment data, and gave a detailed interpretation of the employment work plan for the 2024-2025 academic year, clarifying the direction and goals. Then, he focused on the core indicators of student employment work in the Ministry of Education's review and assessment, combined them with the annual work priorities of the school, and deployed the key tasks of employment work for the current semester.

During the exchange session, the Party Secretary of the Software College, Ziling Liu, and the Party Secretary of the Digital Arts College, Xiaohui Xu respectively shared their experiences, challenges, and main measures in graduate employment work.

Yeping Zhang expressed his appreciation and encouragement to all colleagues in the employment line for their hard work and positive achievements in the promotion of employment for the 2024 graduates. At the same time, he stressed that in the face of the new employment situation and challenges, the school should not only focus on the implementation of various regular employment-related work, but also pay attention to the following aspects: First, deepen educational reform, closely follow the evaluation standards of the Ministry of Education's review and the school's own educational features, strengthen the cultivation of applied talents, comprehensively enhance students' professional ability and overall quality, and further enhance the graduates' employment competitiveness; Second, provide precise empowerment, classify and provide intelligent, personalized and comprehensive career planning and employment guidance services for students of different grades based on their characteristics and needs; Third, strengthen the education of contract spirit for graduates, guide students to further establish a sense of integrity and social responsibility through diverse classroom teaching and practical activities; Fourth, the school should continue to work closely together to provide sufficient enterprise resources, financial support and policy guarantees for graduate employment, and jointly build a good employment and education service guarantee system.
