The deans of the secondary colleges, the heads of the Academic Affairs Office, the Personnel Office, the Student Affairs Office, the Recruitment Office, the Science and Technology Office and other departments served as judges, and the heads of the colleges in charge of teaching work, professional leaders and persons in charge attended the event.

At the beginning of the event, Xiaobo Zhou, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, elaborated on the background, purpose, significance, rules and scoring criteria of the competition. Subsequently, 9 professional leaders talked about the professional activities in the order of drawing lots, and elaborated the specific practices, achievements, shortcomings and future plans of professional construction from the aspects of professional overview, talent training, teaching resources, teaching team, teaching management and evaluation, and professional characteristics.

Finally, Qian Yang, Director of Academic Affairs, commented and summarized the event. She emphasized that the person in charge of each major should first understand "what is a major, how to do it, and what effect does it have" in combination with this teaching competition; The second is to emphasize that the professional setting should be in line with the major national strategies and the needs of regional economic and social development; Third, it is necessary to fully demonstrate the talent training program, and carry out professional teaching resources and teaching team building around the needs of talent training; Fourth, it is necessary to strengthen the quality management of the professional teaching process, and gradually implement the evaluation of the achievement of courses, graduation requirements and training goals based on the OBE teaching concept; Fifth, it is necessary to analyze the problems and gaps in professional construction, and form professional characteristics with heavy industry recognition through continuous improvement.

This activity is not only a competition, but also an exchange, which will be conducive to learning from each other among the colleges, and deeply understand the requirements of the professional connotation construction involved in the evaluation standard of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission's "Saying Major", and at the same time promote the person in charge of the major to clarify the follow-up professional construction ideas, clarify the professional development positioning, upgrade the traditional major, optimize the curriculum system, innovate the teaching method, and improve the quality of talent training.

It is reported that the competition finally selected a total of 1 first prize, 2 second prizes, 3 third prizes, the first prize winner will represent the school to participate in the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission organized the "professional person in charge of the major" activity.
