Shuangqiao Campus Holds a Special Lecture on "High Cognitive Context Communication Skills in Interviews"

In order to comprehensively enhance students' understanding of interview theory, communication skills, and their ability to adapt to different interview contexts, and to enhance their confidence and competitiveness in job hunting, on the afternoon of October 30th, our university's Employment Guidance Center held a special lecture on "High Cognitive Context Communication Skills in Interviews" at the Shuangqiao Campus. The speaker is Xue Zhang, an expert in employment and entrepreneurship guidance for college graduates in Chongqing, a lecturer for the "Hongzhi Assistance Plan" of the Ministry of Education, and a teacher at the Enrollment and Employment Office of Chongqing University of Arts and Sciences. About 600 junior students from Shuangqiao Campus participated in this lecture.

At the beginning of the lecture, Xue Zhang shared her views on job interviews and employment with her classmates based on her own experience. Taking New Oriental Culinary Institute as an example, she emphasized the importance of practical experience in the professional field and affirmed the students' learning ability. She pointed out that excellent interviews are not just about on-site performance, but also stem from sufficient preparation. Subsequently, Xue Zhang presented a conversation with a leader and provided in-depth interpretation, demonstrating high cognitive context communication skills to everyone. She told everyone that when communicating with others, we should have empathy and fully understand what abilities are required for the position we are applying for in order to make our job search process smoother.

Finally,Xue Zhang shared her communication experience with recruiters, detailing common recruitment keywords and their underlying meanings during interviews, aiming to help students prepare more fully before the interview and encourage them to demonstrate more mature and flexible communication skills during the interview.

Amidst the enthusiastic applause of the classmates, the lecture on "High Cognitive Context Communication Skills in Interviews" came to a successful conclusion. The successful hosting of this lecture not only imparted a series of practical interview skills to our school students, but also laid a solid foundation for them to achieve even greater success in their academic and professional careers in the future.
