By adopting various forms to mobilize the enthusiasm of teachers to participate in educational research and construction, and through planned and organized incubation, cultivation, and polishing at the school and college levels, our school has achieved continuous breakthroughs in municipal level teaching construction achievements this year. One characteristic advantage professional group for the integration of industry and education in ordinary undergraduate universities in Chongqing, one practical teaching platform for the integration of industry and education in ordinary undergraduate universities, nine research projects on higher education teaching reform, two special projects for the cultivation of undergraduate teaching achievements, two research projects on foreign language education teaching reform, five first-class courses, two demonstration courses for ideological and political education, and seven awards in micro course teaching competitions have been established.

In July 2024, the "Metaverse Digital Content Production Professional Group" was successfully established as a characteristic advantage professional group for the integration of industry and education in ordinary undergraduate universities in Chongqing (Yujiao Gaofa [2024] No. 6); The successful establishment of the "5G+Connected Car Industry Education Integration Virtual Reality Integration Practice Teaching Platform" as a practical teaching platform for industry education integration in ordinary undergraduate universities in Chongqing ([2024] No. 8) reflects the important achievements of our university in the integration of industry and education.

In July, 9 research projects on higher education teaching reform in Chongqing were approved, among which Professor Qian Yang, Director of the Academic Affairs Office, presided over the "Research and Practice of the Smart Teaching System of 'Quality Leading Personality Development'", which was approved (Yujiao Gaohan [2024] No. 32), making our university break through the funding support for educational reform projects in Chongqing.

In August, Vice President Mingshu Tan presided over the research and practice of the continuous improvement mechanism of undergraduate education and teaching quality based on process data, and Assistant to the President Longfu Zhou presided over the innovation research and practice of AI enabled "teacher/student/machine" ternary interactive teaching mode, which were approved as the "Undergraduate Teaching Achievement Cultivation and Leading" special project for higher education teaching reform research in Chongqing (Yujiao Gaohan [2024] No. 35), laying a good foundation for our university to apply for the Chongqing Teaching Achievement Award.

In September, Associate Professor Yeling's Yang course "Computer Networks" was selected by the "Digital Literacy and Skill Enhancement" course section of the National Smart Education Public Service Platform.

In October, Associate Professor Jian Jia's "Research on Improving English Speech Ability Based on Artificial Intelligence to Tell Chinese Stories in English" was approved as a special research project for foreign language education and teaching reform in Chongqing (Yujiao Gaohan [2024] No. 47), and Associate Professor Zhang Jinmei's "Research on Innovative Models of Ideological and Political Education in College English Curriculum under the Background of Education Digitalization" was approved as a special project for "Application of Large Language Model in Foreign Language Teaching and Research" in Chongqing (Yujiao Gaohan [2024] No. 48), marking the achievements of our university's foreign language classroom teaching reform and curriculum ideological and political innovation model.

In November, five courses including Introduction to Information Technology were recognized as first-class courses in Chongqing (Yujiao Gaohan [2024] No. 51), including one online course, one offline course, two blended online and offline courses, and one virtual simulation experiment teaching course. The number of recognized courses is tied for the first among private universities. At the same time, two courses including "Operating Systems" have been successfully approved as demonstration projects for ideological and political education in undergraduate universities in Chongqing.

In November, we won 2 second prizes and 5 third prizes in the Chongqing Undergraduate Micro Course Teaching Competition, with a 44% increase in the award rate compared to last year.

The school will further implement the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talents, fully leverage the demonstration and leading role of teaching research projects, focus on connotation construction and development, highlight the talent cultivation characteristics of "integrating learning with practice and applying what is learned", guide and encourage teachers to accelerate teaching reform and innovation, steadily improve the quality of education and teaching, and help cultivate high-quality applied talents with strong learning and application abilities.
