Teacher's Digital Intelligence Ability Enhancement (II) - The school successfully held an AI Empowerment: Efficient Design of High Quality Classroom Workshop

Net news (article/picture by Dingyuan Luo , Teacher Development Center) aims to enhance teachers' AI technology application ability, optimize teaching design, and promote the deep integration of AI technology and teaching practice. The Teacher Development Center organized a workshop on AI Empowerment: Efficient Design of High Quality Classrooms from March 14th to March 15th. This training was taught by Associate Professors Heng Li and Yuan Chen from Chongqing University, and attracted 45 teachers from the whole school to participate.

The training content is rich and colorful, covering the working principles and application scenarios of AI, classic theories of learning science and education teaching, as well as the design and optimization of AI enabled learning objectives, assessment, classroom teaching, and multimodal teaching resource generation. Chen Yuan and Heng Li used a combination of theory and practical experience to explain the application of AI technology in teaching in a clear and concise manner, providing both theoretical depth and practical guidance for the training.

During the training process, Yuan Chen emphasized the clarity and measurability of learning objectives, and shared methods for evaluating learning objectives; Detailed introduction of the diversity of evaluation subjects, AI assisted proposition, and evaluation quality assessment to ensure comprehensive and objective evaluation of students' learning outcomes; In depth exploration of questioning strategies and how to improve teaching and learning effectiveness has provided practical teaching techniques for teachers.

 Heng Li led the participating teachers to revise teaching objectives, conduct teaching assessments, and design teaching activities through practical operations. He vividly demonstrated how AI technology can help optimize various aspects of teaching and provide teachers with abundant teaching resources and support. His vivid and specific explanations gave the participating teachers a more intuitive understanding and practical skills in the application of AI technology.

At the end of the training activity, participating teachers will summarize and report on the introduction, objectives, teaching and learning, evaluation, and summary of each teaching process in groups. During the activity, teachers actively interacted and discussed pain points and solutions in teaching together. Everyone expressed that they will apply the knowledge they have learned to practical teaching, continuously optimize teaching design, improve teaching quality, and create a better and more efficient classroom learning environment for students.

This training provides a platform for teachers to learn and communicate, laying a solid foundation for creating efficient and high-quality classrooms in the future. The Education Development Center will continue to focus on AI enabled teaching and conduct classified training.
