Breaking through fixed thinking patterns and opening the door to innovation - Innovation Classroom opens!

Net news (article/Lele Wu from the School of Innovation picture /College Student Journalist Group)On the afternoon of March 12th, the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at our university held a lecture on "Breaking through Thinking Patterns and Opening the Door to Innovation" in the lecture hall 807 of the seventh teaching building. This lecture attracted many students who are enthusiastic about innovation and entrepreneurship to participate, and the atmosphere on site was lively.

This lecture has invited Professor and Doctoral Supervisor Xiaogang Lin from Chongqing University to be the keynote speaker. Xiaogang Lin has achieved remarkable results in the fields of precision testing and metrology, bio optoelectronic sensing, and innovative methods research. He is a member of the Innovation Engineering Branch of the Chinese Society of Creativity, a member of the Chongqing Vocational Education Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teaching Guidance Committee, an international TRIZ Level 3 certified expert, a national innovation consultant, trainer, and engineer. He has won the first prize of Chongqing Science and Technology Progress Award, presided over more than 20 national level projects, holds more than 30 patents, and guided more than 50 innovation projects.

The lecture revolves around college students exploring their thinking patterns and inspiring their entrepreneurial spirit, with rich and practical content. Xiaogang Lin first conducted an in-depth analysis of thinking patterns, explaining in detail their concepts, types, causes, and their impact on personal thinking and decision-making. This section helps students clearly recognize their potential thinking limitations and lays the foundation for breaking through thinking patterns in the future.

When explaining the methods of breaking thinking patterns, Xiaogang Lin vividly explained the importance of breaking thinking patterns using the entrepreneurial success history of Xuhao Zhang, the founder of Ele.me, as an example. He also shared effective strategies such as cultivating critical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, reverse thinking, brainstorming, and prototype design, providing students with specific paths to break thinking patterns and stimulate their innovative potential.

Subsequently, Xiaogang Lin pointed out that in the rapidly developing era, traditional thinking patterns are difficult to cope with complex and ever-changing problems. Breaking the mindset is the starting point of innovation, and understanding and applying innovative thinking is the key to achieving breakthroughs and changes. He introduced the basic concepts and characteristics of innovative thinking, opening up a new perspective for students and providing them with a deeper understanding of innovative thinking.

At the end of the lecture, Xiaogang Lin discussed the importance of innovation for college students from multiple perspectives such as academic, career development, social contribution, and personal growth, and proposed strategies for cultivating innovation ability. He emphasized that innovation is an important way for college students to cope with future challenges, achieve personal dreams and career goals, further igniting their enthusiasm for innovation and entrepreneurship.
