Our school has successfully established the Key Laboratory of Banan District

Net news(article/ picture Technology Department Shiyi Li)Recently, the Science and Technology Bureau of Banan District officially announced the list of district level key laboratory projects for 2024. After rigorous formal review, expert meeting evaluation, and on-site inspections, 11 key laboratories including the "Banan District Advanced Equipment Intelligence Key Laboratory" were finally approved for project establishment. Our school's application for the "Banan District Key Laboratory of Financial Technology" has been successfully selected for the list.

Based on the needs of Chongqing's regional economic and social development, the laboratory conducts research on financial business precision services, financial risk control, Internet financial credit reporting, financial technology and digital intelligence industry development based on big data technology, and provides support for improving regional industrial competitiveness from the perspective of financial services. The core team of the laboratory has applied for multiple vertical projects involving financial fraud detection methods, credit risk prediction, and other related content. They have published more than 50 high-quality papers and achieved excellent market performance in joint research projects with enterprises, continuously enhancing their regional influence.

In recent years, our university has actively responded to the regional economic development strategy, relying on the Chongqing University Engineering Research Center for the intelligent application of financial big data, and continuously deepening the scientific research layout in the field of financial technology. Through systematic discipline construction and talent introduction, a well structured and innovative research team has been formed, and the quality of scientific research achievements has significantly improved, providing strong support for the successful application of this laboratory. According to the construction plan, our university will focus on laboratory construction goals in the next three years, further concentrate on research directions, strengthen scientific research and breakthroughs, and strive to achieve breakthroughs in areas such as financial technology basic theory innovation and key technology applications.
