Youthful rhythm! Our cheerleading Team Achieved Excellent Results in the Chongqing 2025 College Students' Aerobics Competition!

From May 11th to 13th, the Chongqing 2025 College Student Aerobics Competition, hosted by the Chongqing Education Commission and organized by Sichuan Foreign Studies University, was held at Sichuan Foreign Studies University. Our school's cheerleading team performed excellently in this competition, winning second place in the cheerleading duet street dance optional routine, fourth place in the cheerleading 2025 version regulated flower ball, and fifth place in the cheerleading duet flower ball optional routine.

It is reported that this competition attracted a total of 868 athletes from 39 universities including Chongqing University and Southwest University of Political Science and Law to compete on the same field, with a grand scale and fierce competition. Our school attaches great importance to this competition, with Wen Xiong, the director of the Physical Education Teaching and Research Office of the Basic College, as the team leader, and teachers Huang Xin and Yan Han as professional coaches. We carefully selected 19 students from the whole school to form a participating team. During the preparation period, teachers and students overcame numerous difficulties and conducted high-intensity and systematic training in the training room, polishing every detail of their movements with an attitude of excellence.

This competition not only provided a high-quality platform for students to showcase their sports talents, but also witnessed the significant improvement of team members' physical fitness, skills, and teamwork abilities. The team members have demonstrated their tenacious sportsmanship through daily hard training and sweat, leaving a significant mark on their growth path. The achievement of this result fully demonstrates the significant achievements of our school's physical education teaching reform, and also provides strong support for deepening the integration of sports and education in the future.
