Our school organizes a special training on the concept and practice of the split classroom teaching mode

Net news(article/ picture Teacher Development Center Dingyuan Luo)In order to deepen the reform of education and teaching and implement the teaching philosophy of "student-centered", the Teacher Development Center organized a special training on "Concept and Practice of Classroom Teaching Mode" on the afternoon of May 9th. This event was hosted by Nan Zhang, Vice Dean of the Basic College, and attracted 16 teachers from various colleges in the school to participate.

The innovative ice breaking activity of "trying to draw a landscape painting" cleverly opened the training, instantly igniting the enthusiasm of the participating teachers. During the training process, Nan Zhang systematically explained the core connotation of classroom division, stating that this model can effectively stimulate students' learning initiative and classroom participation through the organic integration of teacher lectures and student discussions. He not only shared the profound insights of Professor Xinyuan Liang and others from Chongqing Technology and Business University on the concept of classroom division, but also demonstrated the growth and progress that students have gained from it. At the same time, the basic process of "teaching independent learning discussion dialogue" in divided classrooms was analyzed in detail, and the "Bright Exam Help" homework design technique was demonstrated, which includes highlighting gains, testing peers, and helping solve difficulties. In order to deepen the understanding of the divided classroom by the participating teachers, a group discussion and sharing session was carefully organized, allowing the participating teachers to have in-depth exchanges on the problems and solutions encountered in the divided classroom.

After the training, the participating teachers expressed that this training provided a practical and feasible path for implementing the OBE outcome oriented education concept, and they will apply the split classroom teaching mode to classroom teaching in their future teaching. Lu Ya, a teacher from the School of Architecture and Engineering, said, "The split classroom teaching model has already been used in our actual classrooms, but it lacks systematic theoretical support.

The Teacher Development Center will continue to build a professional development platform for teachers, promote innovation in classroom teaching models through a series of teaching ability enhancement activities, lay a solid teaching foundation for the high-quality development of the school, and help the school's education and teaching reform move towards a new level.
