Our School Has Been Honored as an Advanced Collective in The Construction of Ping'an Banan

On May 29, Banan District Party Committee and Government issued the Decision on Commending the Advanced Collective and exemplary individual of Safe Banan Construction in 2021-2024. Our school was awarded the Advanced Collective of Safe Banan Construction, and it is the only university in Banan District that has won this honor.

In recent years, under the strong leadership of the district committee and government, our school has focused on the goal and task of building a western pilot zone for safe China, adhered to the guidance of risk elimination and safety work, and taken the in-depth implementation of the "top leader" project for safe construction as the starting point, effectively preventing and resolving various risks and hidden dangers, and contributing heavy industry strength to the sustained security and stability of the political and social situation in the whole district.

Chongqing University of Engineering has been deeply implementing General Secretary Jinping's Xi important discourse on safety production and safety construction, firmly grasping the political and safety construction of the campus from a high position, focusing on the construction of a high standard and detailed safety campus, establishing a high-quality and solid institutional system, firmly establishing the concept of safe development, insisting on putting teachers and students at the center, aiming to "control major accidents and prevent major disasters", taking major investigations and rectification as the main line, guarding the safety red line, building a solid safety bottom line, and ensuring campus safety, harmony, and stability.

Next, our school will continue to deeply study and implement General Secretary Jinping's Xi important discourse on building a safe China and the important instructions of his inspection of Chongqing. We will faithfully fulfill our duties, take on responsibilities, reform and innovate, and strive to deliver high scores in building a safe China.
