Our School Carries Out the "Five Talks" Activity on Ideological Work in 2025 with The Strong Synergy of "Five Dimensions in One"

In order to thoroughly study and implement General Secretary Jinping's Xi important discourse on ideological work, conscientiously implement the spirit of relevant documents and meeting requirements of the Municipal Party Committee, Municipal Party Committee Education Working Committee, and Municipal Education Commission, carry out the project of forging the soul of the new generation in the times, establish and improve the ideological work system, enhance the working force, and create a good working atmosphere of joint management throughout the school. Our school held a special seminar on ideological work in 2025 and the "Five Talks" activity on the afternoon of June 13th.

Changhong Chen, Secretary of the Party Committee,Yeping Zhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President, and Jiandong Wang, Vice President, attended the meeting. The heads of various functional departments of the Party Committee and related functional departments, the heads of the Party branch of the secondary college, full-time organizers, all political counselors, and all ideological and political teachers of the Marxism College participated in the meeting, and the Shuangqiao Campus attended via video conference. At the meeting, the heads of functional departments represented JianSun, Deputy Director of the Student Affairs Office; the head of the Party branch represented Ziling Liu, Secretary of the Party branch of the Software College; the full-time organizer represented Dengxue Wei, full-time organizer of the School of Computer Science; the ideological and political teacher represented Kangwei Zhang, Assistant Dean of the School of Marxism; and the assistant director represented Shuang Fuang, counselor of the Shuangqiao Campus, respectively carried out ideological "Five Talks" from five dimensions. They each focused on the original intention of cultivating morality and talents, keeping in mind the mission of educating people for the Party and the country. Combining their own work positions, they elaborated on their understanding and measures of ideological work from five dimensions: "Seizing the main battlefield of the Internet to build a new platform for educating people," "Strictly controlling the 'four checkpoints,' and building the 'four lines,'" "Everyone has a responsibility to shoulder the mission, uphold integrity, innovate, and build unity - sharing the 'three responsibilities' of ideological work practice," "grasping the theoretical logic of new quality productivity to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education in universities," and "Gathering the' lightning 'power of ideas to awaken students' growth motivation.

Pengtao Zhao, Minister of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee, analyzed the challenges and problems faced by ideological work in universities in the new era, and put forward work requirements for the focus of ideological work in schools in the near future.

Chen Changhong's speech believes that the speeches of the five spokespersons are both theoretical and practical, with effective measures, demonstrating the improvement of the ideological consciousness and professional level of the school's ideological management team, and the relevant work has achieved practical results. He emphasized that ideological work is related to the development direction of schools and the quality of talent cultivation. It is necessary to have a high sense of political responsibility and mission, and effectively carry out various ideological work in schools.Changhong Chen put forward three work requirements, firstly, to elevate the political stance and fully recognize the importance of ideological work; Secondly, strengthen responsibility and improve the ideological work system and mechanism; The third is to focus on key innovations and effectively achieve ideological work results.

The special seminar on ideological work in schools and the "Five Talks" activity have become regular and ongoing work in schools. This activity deepens ideological work in schools, creates an atmosphere for ideological work, and promotes the implementation and refinement of ideological work. In the next step, the school will further explore and carry out various forms of ideological "Five Talks" activities, forming a brand of ideological work with heavy industry characteristics.
