Net news (article/ picture Management Committee of Shuangqiao Campus Shuangyi Yang) To enhance the self rescue and mutual aid abilities of faculty and staff, effectively utilize the "golden life-saving time", and add security to life safety. On the afternoon of June 5th, Chongqing Emergency Medical Center actively responded to the requirements of the Municipal Education, Science, Culture, Health and Sports Union and came to the Shuangqiao Campus of Chongqing Institute of Engineering to conduct a professional "Health Grassroots Action" emergency skills training for faculty and teachers.

During the training process, professional instructors from Chongqing Emergency Medical Center imparted key emergency skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, respiratory foreign body obstruction, use of AEDs, and trauma first aid to the faculty through vivid video lectures, on-site simulation exercises, and knowledge quizzes. The lecturers not only elaborated on the operational steps of various emergency skills, but also emphasized the precautions and patiently answered common emergency questions, making previously obscure medical knowledge easy to understand.

In the practical practice session, the faculty and teachers were enthusiastic and actively participated. Experts provide careful guidance on the side, correcting the teachers' operational movements step by step to ensure that everyone can master the correct first aid techniques. After multiple practice sessions, most teachers successfully passed the assessment and obtained the certificate of first aid qualification. Teachers have expressed that through this practical exercise, they have not only mastered first aid skills, but also enhanced their confidence in facing emergency situations.

Chongqing University of Engineering always puts the safety and health of teachers and students first, and this training has injected new impetus into campus emergency safety work. In the future, we will also take this as an opportunity to continue promoting the popularization of campus emergency knowledge, encouraging more teachers and staff to participate in emergency skills learning, further enhancing campus emergency response capabilities, building a strong campus safety defense line, and creating a safer and healthier learning and working environment for teachers and students.
