Two Courses of Our University Selected into the First Batch of "Smart Courses Xinjiang Tour" Plan

Campus News (Text/Photos by Beibei Luo, Academic Affairs Office) To implement the requirements of the Outline of the Education Power Construction Plan (2024-2035) and further promote the "MOOC Western Tour Plan 2.0" to facilitate the sharing of high-quality educational resources between eastern and western universities, the Xinjiang University Online Education Alliance launched the "Smart Courses Xinjiang Tour" sharing activity under the coordination of the MOOC Western Tour Working Committee. Two courses of our university - Advertising and Introduction to Information Technology - were selected into the first batch of excellent smart courses and launched on the Xinjiang University Online Education Alliance platform.

It is reported that the "Smart Courses Xinjiang Tour" is a core measure of the Ministry of Education's "MOOC Western Tour Plan 2.0". It takes "resource sharing and coordinated development" as its purpose, relies on digital and intelligent platforms, and strives to promote the co-construction and sharing of high-quality educational resources between eastern and western universities, deepen regional cooperation, and empower the high-quality development of higher education.

In the future, the university will continue to deepen the construction and teaching innovation of smart courses, actively explore effective ways to share high-quality educational resources across regions, promote the sharing and innovation of high-quality teaching resources, and contribute "Chongqing Institute of Engineering" strength to promoting educational equity and driving the high-quality development of higher education through "advantage complementarity and collaborative innovation".
