Net news (article/picture the Publicity Department of the Party Committee) In order to ensure that all work related to the start of the 2025 autumn semester is operating smoothly, orderly, and efficiently, and to comprehensively guarantee the quality of education and teaching while creating a good environment for all faculty, staff, and students for learning, work, and life, school leaders organized a comprehensive check of the conditions for starting the semester and preparations for teaching across the entire school before the start of classes. All school leaders led teams to conduct special inspections on the staffing, teaching preparations and guarantees, logistics services, and safety and stability conditions before the semester starts.

President Fangcheng Sun and his team focused on checking the preparations for teaching conditions in the School of Software and the School of Computer Science and the Internet of Things, conducting thorough inspections of teaching equipment and facilities in the teaching buildings; in student dormitories, they focused on checking the preparation of facilities and equipment, inspecting the status of various living equipment floor by floor and building by building. Fangcheng Sun noted that the summer work of various units progressed in an orderly fashion and that key tasks before the semester start were implemented effectively. He requested that any problems identified be recorded in a “problem ledger”, clearly defining the responsible parties and deadlines for rectification, ensuring that all facilities and equipment meet safety standards for use before the semester starts, in order to fully support the teaching and living needs of students after they move in.

Party Secretary Changhong Chen and his team conducted a focused inspection of the teaching preparations at the School of Electronic Information, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, and the School of Marxism. During the visit to the School of Marxism, they acknowledged the preparations for the semester and provided guidance on continuously improving the quality of ideological and political education, optimizing discipline construction, and fostering scientific research and innovation. The team also carefully inspected the facilities and equipment in teaching areas and student dormitories. During the inspection,Changhong Chen emphasized that all departments should cultivate safety awareness, and relevant departments should establish a record to address the issues identified during the inspection, ensuring safety, stability, and order at the start of the semester.

Other school leaders also conducted comprehensive checks on the teaching preparations, teaching buildings, libraries, student dormitories, cafeterias, playgrounds, and other areas of the relevant secondary colleges to ensure a smooth start to the school year. During the inspection, the school leaders had friendly exchanges with students who had returned to campus early and parents dropping off their children. They expressed concern and inquired about the students' holiday lives and their living experiences, and provided detailed answers to parents' concerns regarding study plans, campus life, and logistical support.

This special inspection was not only a thorough oversight of the preparations for the start of the school year but also a vivid embodiment of the educational philosophy of “student-centered development”. It effectively enhanced students' sense of safety, fulfillment, and happiness after returning to school, laying a solid foundation for the smooth progress of various tasks in the new semester.
