Our school's multiple student patent achievements shine at the Smart World Expo!

Net news (article/ picture the Technology Department Shiyi Li)On September 5th, the 2025 World Intelligent Industry Expo (CIIE) was held at the Chongqing International Expo Center, along with the 4th Youth Patent Incubation Exhibition and International Invention Exhibition of the CIIE. Nine student patent works, including "Smart Home Fire Prevention System Based on Single Chip Microcomputer" from the School of Electronic Information, "Smart Navigation System Leader for Building a Safe and Resilient Modern Water Network" from the School of Intelligent Manufacturing, and "Qingling Intelligent Protection - Plant Disease and Pest Detection and Health Perception Platform Based on Computer Vision" from the School of Computer and Internet of Things, have been rigorously screened by the organizing committee and successfully exhibited, fully demonstrating the achievements of the school's integration of science and education in cultivating students' scientific research abilities.

In recent years, the school has attached great importance to the feedback of scientific research to teaching work, actively encouraging teachers to integrate scientific research into the curriculum, classroom, and personnel training, fully leveraging the advantages of cutting-edge breakthroughs and innovative applications in scientific research work, effectively enhancing students' higher-order cultivation, and continuously enhancing their innovation ability. In the academic year 2024-2025, students from our school participated in 13 patent applications, authorized 503 software works, published 43 papers, and steadily improved their research level.

It is reported that the 2025 World Intelligent Industry Expo (CIIE) will be held from September 5th to 8th, jointly organized by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and the Tianjin Municipal People's Government at the Chongqing International Expo Center. This year's Smart China Expo focuses on the display of intelligent technology and industrial cooperation, with the Youth Patent Incubation Exhibition as an important exhibition area, aiming to build a platform for the transformation of scientific and technological innovation patent achievements for young people. The theme of this event is "Open Sharing, Smart Creation for the Future".
