The teachers and students of the School of Digital Arts at Chongqing University of Engineering have performed outstandingly in the competition with solid professional skills and innovative practical abilities. They have not only won the "Excellent Organization Unit" in the Chongqing competition area and the "Outstanding Organization Award" in the national finals, but also gained a lot in individual and team awards, demonstrating the teaching strength and talent cultivation effectiveness of the school in the field of digital art design.

As a college student discipline competition recognized by the Chongqing Education Commission and selected for the "National Ranking of College Student Competitions", the NCDA competition has significant authority and influence. This competition attracted 1893 universities from across the country, collected over 290000 works, established 29 provincial-level competition areas, and achieved a participation rate of 95.2% for 985 universities and first-class universities. 100% of universities rated C or above in the design discipline evaluation participated. In the Chongqing competition area, teachers and students from the Digital Arts College actively responded to the concept of "emphasizing both science and art, and inheriting culture" in the competition. They submitted works covering multiple fields such as intangible cultural heritage inheritance, traditional cultural innovation, and metaverse design, and ultimately won 16 first prizes, 29 second prizes, and 32 third prizes, demonstrating the college's multi-level teaching and cultivation capabilities.

The undergraduate group's works focus on the integration of cultural heritage and digital technology, resulting in a number of excellent works that combine both ideological and artistic elements: Linxin Dai, Jiayi Xiong, and other teams' "Lantern Fantasy World - Based on the Design of Intangible Cultural Heritage Lantern Art Exhibition Hall" combines traditional lantern culture with modern digital space, allowing intangible cultural heritage to flourish in the virtual world; The team led by Hongyan Peng, Dan Peng, and others' "Through the Thousand Year Canvas - Tibetan Tangka Museum" revitalizes intangible cultural heritage Tangka art in the form of a metaverse exhibition hall; The team led by Hongfei Xiang, Yanxi Zhao, and others' "Great Tang Army God" uses digital art to restore the military culture of the prosperous Tang Dynasty;

Relying on the strong promotion of the first prize works in the Chongqing competition area, the Digital Art Institute continued to make breakthroughs in the national finals, ultimately winning 3 first prizes, 4 second prizes, and 5 third prizes, ranking among the top universities in terms of both quantity and quality of awards.

Among them, three works by Li Lujia's team, "Yuanjing · Youyuan Lu", Xiang Tao's team, "Yuanxi Yiyun: Digital Time Travel of Drama Dreams for Thousands of Years", and Xiang Hongfei's team, "The Great Tang Army God", won the first prize in the national competition. The film "Yuan Xi Yi Yun" uses digital technology to create an immersive experience space for traditional Chinese opera, allowing viewers to "travel" through thousands of years and experience the charm of traditional opera. "Yuan Jing · Garden Tour Record" reconstructs classical gardens with the concept of the metaverse, achieving a deep integration of traditional culture and cutting-edge technology, fully meeting the core goal of the competition to "cultivate future designers".

In addition, four works by Hu Dan's team, including "Ghost Parade · Fengdu Temple Fair" and Dai Linxin's team, "Yuanxi Fantasy Domain - Design Based on Intangible Cultural Heritage Lantern Culture Museum", won the second prize nationwide; Five works by Wang Xueqi's team, including "Mid Autumn Festival - Space Moon Observation" and Jin Qiuyue's team, "Boiling Metaverse - Civilization Reborn on the Tongue", won third prizes nationwide, covering diverse themes such as traditional culture, aerospace science popularization, and sustainable development, showcasing the innovative vision and social care of college students.
