Net news (written by Qiuqing Ye from the Employment Guidance Center) reports that, to thoroughly implement the employment policies issued by the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council, and strengthen the targeted employment assistance for disadvantaged college students in the university, our university successfully held the 15-day "Hongzhi Assistance & Navigation" Training for Improving College Students' Employment Ability from September to October. A total of 130 students in the university participated in this learning activity.

The "Hongzhi Assistance and Navigation Program" is a national employment ability training program for college graduates organized and implemented by the Ministry of Education and specially supported by the Ministry of Finance. Centering on the actual needs of career planning, job hunting and employment, this training has elaborately designed a 30-class-hour intensive curriculum, covering 10 core themes such as job-hunting analysis and advantage cognition, employment information collection and sorting, job resume writing, group interview and leadership training, adjustment of job-hunting mentality and promotion of actions. The program aims to effectively enhance college students' confidence in job hunting and improve their employment competitiveness by carrying out employment ability training.

This training adopts a mode combining theoretical teaching and group discussion, dividing 130 students into 2 classes and 16 learning groups to build a closely cooperative learning community. The teaching team is composed of municipal-level employment guidance experts from many universities including Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications, Chongqing Jiaotong University and Chongqing University of Technology. Through diversified teaching methods such as team tasks, group activities, case discussions and role-playing, they have effectively stimulated students' enthusiasm for active participation and enabled students to exercise their adaptability and team cooperation spirit in scenarios close to real job hunting.

The training content covers all aspects of college students' job hunting, being comprehensive and substantial. It features diverse forms and emphasizes inspiration and practicality. Participating students generally report remarkable gains—while broadening their career horizons, they have established scientific and correct views on employment and career choice, and their job-hunting abilities have achieved substantial improvement. In the future, the university will further strengthen the employment assistance for key groups of graduates, and make every effort to promote graduates to achieve high-quality and full employment through resource integration and comprehensive measures.
