Teachers from the Basic College achieved excellent results in the 10th Basic Skills Competition for Young Physical Education Teachers in Chongqing's Colleges and universities

Net news (article/ picture the School of Basic Xiong Wen) On September 28th,The 10th Basic Skills Competition for Young Physical Education Teachers in Chongqing's Colleges and Universities, hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, came to an end at Southwest University of Political Science and Law. After three days of intense competition, our school's representative team won the eighth place in the total team score. Teachers Feng Gao and Yan Ma from the Basic College of our school won the first prize respectively.Siqi Wang, Zhen Yang and Xin Huang won the second prize respectively.Li Ao, Yifan Song,Pengfei Li and Yonglian Wang won the third prize respectively. Among them, Yan Ma ranked first in the total score of the women's basketball event in the undergraduate group in the city.

It is understood that this competition has attracted a total of 67 university teams and 612 young university teachers to participate. The competition features six physical fitness events, including theoretical examination, standing triple jump, shot put, half-court dribbling and shooting, 50-meter freestyle, and men's 1000 meters (women's 800 meters). Our school's representative team was led by Xiong Wen, the director of the Physical Education Teaching and Research Office, and coached by Xueya Zu, the deputy director. Eleven young physical education teachers from the Basic College represented the school in the competition.

This participation in the competition has demonstrated the professional qualities and spiritual outlook of our school's young physical education teachers, and has also fully affirmed the achievements of our school's physical education work in the new era. Taking this as an opportunity, the Basic College will continue to deepen the reform of school physical education teaching in the new era, constantly innovate the model of physical education, and contribute more to the all-round development of students and the progress of school physical education.
