Discussing Development Together: Hainan Software Vocational College Visits Our School for Inspection and Exchange

Net news(article/Party Committee Publicity Department,Photo/University Student Reporter Group) on October 11th.To deepen inter-school communication and cooperation, on the afternoon of October 10th, Xiaoyu Han, Deputy District Mayor of Shapingba District, Chongqing (concurrently serving) and President of Hainan Software Vocational College, led a team to our university for an educational research and exchange visit. Guosheng Ma, Vice President of Chongqing Zhengda Software (Group) Co., Ltd., Fangcheng Sun, President of Chongqing University of Engineering, Yeping Zhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President, and Vice President Mingshu Tan attended, along with relevant functional departments and heads of secondary colleges. The meeting was chaired by Yeping Zhang.

Xiaoyu Han and her team visited the school's history museum and smart campus management center to gain an in-depth understanding of the school's history, educational characteristics, talent cultivation, and achievements.

At the symposium, Fangcheng Sun, on behalf of the school, expressed a sincere welcome to Xiaoyu Han and her delegation. He introduced the school's basic infrastructure and educational features, hoping that the two schools would strengthen communication and exchange to jointly create a new chapter in inter-school cooperation. Subsequently, the heads of the relevant functional departments of the school provided a detailed introduction from the perspectives of professional development, school-enterprise cooperation, scientific research and innovation, and AI-empowered education.

The two schools closely discussed topics such as innovative paths for talent training reform, exploration of industrial college management mechanisms, optimization of professional curriculum systems, collaborative research project implementation, enhancement of the effectiveness of external cooperation and exchanges, and collaborative innovation in social services. Both parties reached a consensus to continue leveraging each other's educational strengths and further deepen cooperation.

Xiaoyu Han stated that Chongqing University of Engineering adheres to a local and application-oriented educational positioning, with majors closely aligned with national strategies and local development. Talent cultivation is closely tied to the needs of industries and enterprises. The university will fully promote the establishment of master's programs and looks forward to building more cooperative bridges with Hainan Software Vocational and Technical College in areas such as talent training, resource sharing, and scientific research cooperation. The aim is to systematically advance research and practical innovation in the intrinsic development of higher education, contributing wisdom and strength to the deepening of comprehensive educational reform.
