BNU News (Text/Photos: School of Intelligent Manufacturing, Wen Lieyan) – To genuinely care for students' physical and mental health, enrich campus cultural life, guide students to release academic pressure through exercise and cultivate resilience, thereby fully implementing the "health first" education concept, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing successfully held the "Youth Chasing Light · Campus Night Run Challenge" event on the football field of Nanquan Campus at 19:00 on October 21. Nearly three hundred students enthusiastically participated in the activity.

The students spontaneously gathered on the football field, kicking off the night run with a series of vibrant group photos. The camera captured their youthful, smiling faces, reflecting a strong sense of community. At the organizer's signal, the running app was activated simultaneously, marking the official start of the night run. To accommodate different fitness levels, the event set scientifically tailored challenge goals: 1.6 kilometers for female students and 2.1 kilometers for male students. On the track, dressed in light sportswear, some pushed their limits with determined sprints, while others jogged together, offering mutual encouragement. The dynamic figures moving through the night, the alternating cheers, and the triumphant shouts after completing the challenge all blended into a captivating campus nightscape. Many participants shared that the collective spirit made them feel they "weren't running alone," adding a layer of warmth and infectious energy to the physical activity.

The "Youth Chasing Light" Night Run Challenge served not only as a physical exercise but also as a vibrant lesson in holistic education. It allowed students to truly understand the value of perseverance and the strength of teamwork through their sweating efforts, effectively alleviating daily academic stress. This initiative also represents a concrete measure in implementing the "Three-Wide Education" philosophy and supporting students' all-round development. Moving forward, the School of Intelligent Manufacturing will continue to center its efforts around the "Intelligent Innovation for Youth" brand initiative, meticulously planning and organizing more diverse and high-quality campus cultural activities. The school remains committed to addressing students' growth needs and injecting sustained vitality into cultivating a new generation of well-rounded young talents with moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education excellence.
