Our university organized a joint "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence" general education course learning activity for universities across Chongqing

Net news (article/picture Teacher Development Center Jing Zhang)In response to the call of the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission to systematically build an artificial intelligence general education ecosystem and consolidate the essential qualities of teachers and students in the era of intelligence, our school organized the "Artificial Intelligence General Education Course" learning activity on October 23rd. The event will be conducted in the form of live streaming, with Professor Songchun Zhu, a globally renowned computer vision expert, statistical and applied mathematician, and artificial intelligence expert, as the keynote speaker. The school has set up a centralized learning main venue and decentralized learning sub venues, with more than 300 school leaders, functional department heads, and student representatives attending the main venue.

Songchun Zhu, with the title "General Artificial Intelligence: Moving towards the Intelligent Era of Human Machine Symbiosis," systematically explained the conceptual framework and development trajectory of the "cognition ability value" concept of General Artificial Intelligence (AGI), demonstrated the causal value driven construction process of the world's first "all" general intelligent agent, and presented application results through interactive links such as "seeing the world through all" and "AI music display." He interpreted the two-way action plan of "AI+industry" and "industry+AI", analyzed the application prospects of General Artificial Intelligence, and analyzed the deep integration of General Artificial Intelligence and humanities and social sciences; Call for the construction of a world center for artificial intelligence science, restructuring the interdisciplinary talent training system, and continuously delivering top talents through source innovation.

Through learning, our school's teachers and students have gained a more systematic and in-depth understanding of the connotation, development path, and practical applications of general artificial intelligence, which has unified their thinking and gathered consensus for the school to promote the digital transformation of education. Next, the school will take this opportunity to systematically promote educational and teaching reforms, providing systematic support for cultivating high-quality applied talents.
