Net news( Text by QiuQing Ye/ Photo by JiaLong Li from the university journalist team/ Edited by Die Xie and Xinyue Li from Career Guidance Center) To further advance vocational education and enhance students' core vocational competitiveness, the 7th "College Students' Career Quotient Training Camp" of Chongqing Institute of Engineering was successfully held at the Nanquan Campus from November 15th to 16th. Organized by the university's Career Guidance Center, the event invited three corporate training lecturers with rich practical experience— Zhen Jiang, Ning Zhang and Yuan Zhang—to deliver lectures. It attracted the active participation of more than 70 sophomores and juniors.

The training camp was closely centered on the actual needs of the workplace. Through systematic and modular training design, it strived to broaden students' career horizons and consolidate the foundation for their career development. Focusing on the cultivation of core workplace competencies, this training camp elaborately set up progressive teaching modules (note: the original text is missing the specific number before "progressive teaching modules", so it is retained as such). In the session of cultivating problem-solving abilities, Zhen Jiang delivered a lecture themed "From a Mess to Steady Progress", combining real workplace cases to systematically teach the method of structured task decomposition. He guided students to establish a professional thinking mode of "sorting out the context first, then breaking through the predicament layer by layer", which effectively improved their ability to cope with complex problems.

In the module of public speaking and communication skills, Ning Zhang delivered teaching centered on "Essential Secrets of Public Speaking and Communication for College Students". Through interactive forms such as simulated work reports and scenario-based dialogues, he conducted an in-depth analysis of common misunderstandings in workplace expression, and systematically taught the closed-loop communication skills of "accurate expression + efficient listening", helping students standardize their workplace communication modes.

As a key part of the training camp, the improvement of execution and leadership capabilities was led by Yuan Zhang. He focused on two core aspects: "execution closed loop" and "leadership pit avoidance". Through practical forms such as team collaboration tasks and leaderless group discussions, he strengthened students' execution logic of "goal-follow-up-review", and guided them to deeply understand that "responsibility and collaboration" is the core essence of leadership.

The teaching team of this training camp boasted outstanding strength, all with profound industry backgrounds and professional qualifications. Ning Zhang is a Finland CSA-certified facilitator and CPTD-certified training manager, with experience in talent development across multiple industries in large-scale groups; Yuan Zhang is a national first-class human resources manager and a Cambridge University International Human Resources Manager (Intermediate), rich in practical human resources experience; Zhen Jiang holds multiple positions including human resources manager, career instructor and psychological consultant, and is also a member of the expert database of career instructors at the municipal Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security. He has profound attainments in vocational competence improvement and psychological empowerment. The three lecturers deeply integrated interactive methods such as case discussion, role-playing and group collaboration, creating an active and pragmatic learning atmosphere. Students were fully engaged throughout the process and significantly improved a number of key workplace competencies through ideological collisions and practical drills.

The "College Students' Career Quotient Training Camp" is one of the important measures for the university to improve its career education system. By accurately aligning with workplace needs and integrating high-quality corporate teaching resources, this activity effectively helped students familiarize themselves with workplace logic and scenarios in advance, and strengthened the reserve of their core vocational skills.
